the Damascus was re-etched to bring out the finish so it pops.
it has been Cerakoted with a clearcoat for added protection.
It has been aged with a poly over the receiver to give it character (which can be removed because the Cerakote is the foundational coating
Custom aged Elk horn grips from Hillbilly Grips have replaced stock grips.
The barrel has been professionally jeweled
The barrel Fired less than a magazine before it was put away.
I know I am going to lose on this pistol but it was going to be my carry gun but time and taxes makes me put it up for sale to see what kind of interest there is

Standard Manufacturing is proud to announce the new full Damascus 1911. Using techniques dating back many centuries to medieval times, the frame and slide are hand forged by old-world artisans to make a chain pattern Damascus. The Master Gunsmiths at Standard Manufacturing then take the Damascus blocks and make each 1911 individually. The Standard Manufacturing Damascus 1911 requires many labor-intensive hours of polishing, stoning, and fitting, which only the most experienced gunsmiths can accomplish; as such, very few gunmakers in the world have the capability or craftsmen to make a gun of this level. Due to the amount of labor and time required to make each Damascus 1911, we anticipate a great deal of demand for this limited production model.
