Attractive, all matching, Chinese Tokarev type 54 pistol made in 1957, Vietnam War Era, factory “66” with correct non-matching magazine.
Description:
Chinese Tokarev made in 1957, in factory “66”, with three Chinese characters on top of slide surmounting serial number that is repeated on the left side of the frame. Disassembly shows a matching barrel and hammer group. Fitted with vertically serrated black plastic panels with central 5 pointed star, the left panel recessed for a fixed lanyard ring. Magazine with 6/7 indicator holes and detachable floorplate #8055.
Condition:
G/VG with thinned blue, some cold blue touch-up, drifting into a toned patina, particularly on the front and back straps. Comparable condition grips and magazine. Bore with dull grooves, easily discernible rifling. Correct manual mechanics. Interesting non-importable Chinese military pistol from the Vietnam era.
