This Listing from a Family Collection of Shooting Sports Enthusiasts is a Used; Undated; Unknown Manufacture Frame; SN 006XX-H; That is marked in Italics and Script on two lines on the left side of the slide: “Clark” Long-Slide .38 / Shreveport, La. This makes it a Vintage, Original Jim Clark; 6-Inch Barrel; .38 Mid-Range Match Pistol. The Left Side of the Slide also is Marked (faintly) “38 EC / KIT” on two lines. Deep, Sharp Stippling on the Frontstrap; BO-MAR / PAT. -marked Rear Sight and BO-MAR serrated-inset and Undercut Front Target Sight are typical of the Original Jim Clark - Made Guns, as is the Matte Topstrap. Mainspring Housing is Arched-Serrated 1911-A1 pattern. The inside-frame feed-ramp has Clark’s modification to feed rimmed .38 Special flush-loaded wadcutter cartridges; one 5-Round Original Colt Magazine is Included; the barrel retains a 1911 style lug and link lockup (not simple blowback); and the short, narrow, serrated trigger has an adjustable stop-screw on the front face. Grips are Herrett’s Dark Walnut, Matching Grain Target-Match + Below-Finger Support style with Standard Checkering Panels. This Pistol shows little external finish wear with scratches below the slide-release lever, ahead of the trigger guard, and bluing loss on the left side of the slide in front of the Clark address, on the barrel bushing and slight wear around the front/muzzle edge of the slide.
