Kimber Ultra Carry .45ACP Jim Garthwaite

For sale is a stainless Kimber Ultra Carry. This is a series 1 Ultra Carry (not an Ultra Carry II). The series 1 guns are often preferred by 1911 purists due to their lack of firing pin safety that was added to the later, series II guns.

I purchased this gun in 2009 and shortly there after took it to master 1911 pistolsmith, Jim Garthwaite to do some minor work. Jim performed the following work: re-pin plunger tube, installed a gold bead insert on front site, installed new grip panels, dimple the slide stops, perform a trigger job, clean/inspect, and test fire.

The gun has approximately 650 total rounds put through it and it is in excellent condition. It comes with the original Kimber case, 2 Kimber magazines, and 1 Wilson Combat magazine. Additionally, it comes with factory manuals/paperwork, take down tool, an extra slide stop, and Hogue rubber grips.
