This luger was taken off a nazi officer in ww2. The holster has the nazi bird on it. It has the Obendorf crown u proof on the side. There are no nazi markings on the gun, just the holster. The chamber is marked 1938. The bore is excellent and the gun functions well. Even the grip shows that this pistol was carried extensively by a lefthanded man, as shown by the right grip, the rest of this pistol shows very little wear from firing. The holster still has the last round in the top. The leather is pliable and in good shape. How this firearm got in this holster with a german officer is the mystery. Maybe he lost his issue weapon? Maybe it was taken? This however the gun that came across the atlantic in this holster is in very good to excellent condition and a great addition to anyones collection. Straw bluing is evident on the trigger, take down lever, extractor and mag release. Some of the numbers have been filed but are still readable, as was the practice as the war ended. the Shipping is 35.00
