Scarce Nazi Star Model B
Description: This is a very nice example of a Spanish Star Model B issued to the Nazi military during WW2. It is all matching and has the proper "Waffen D20" Nazi military acceptance proof on the right side of the tang. The firm of Star Bonifacio Echeverria SA, located in Eibar, Spain, originated in 1905 but the factory was destroyed during the Spanish Civil War (1936-1939). It was rebuilt adjacent to the original site, and during WW2 it supplied about 25,000 pistols to the German Army in France. There are two serial ranges for these contracts, with this pistol falling correctly into the second batch. It has retained about 94% of its original high polish finish. There is minor wear around the high edges and areas of spotty discoloration and minor pitting here and there on the gun throughout. It is most noticeable on the left side. Comes with fairly worn period-correct wood grips and one proper magazine. Excellent bore - shiny with strong rifling. Price: $2,650.00 Curio/Relic: Yes Handgun Caliber: 9x19mm Parabellum (9mm Luger, 9x19mm NATO) Bore Info: 9/10 Condition: ~94% Contact Seller |
