Wonderful Russian Makarov Military Rig, with the 1966 dated pistol having a fixed front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Full serial number on left side of slide and the left side of frame, the numerals repeated on the plum-toned safety and the forward frame. Izhevsk Arsenal marking / date on left side of frame. Original factory-matching magazines sub numbered “1” and “2”. Import markings as imaged. Single piece reddish maroon plastic grip with two checkered panels impressed with encircled 5 pointed star. Russian military holster ink-dated "1969" with original cleaning rod.

The pistol is near-new, with just the most minute handling marks. Comparable condition grip, magazines, cleaning rod, and holster. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics. An absolutely wonderful Russian military Makarov rig that would be difficult to improve upon!
