Description:

Wonderful Russian Makarov Military Rig with the "M" year code (1959) dated pistol having a fixed front sight and drift adjustable rear sight. Full serial number on left side of slide and the left side of frame, the numerals repeated on the plum-toned safety. Izhevsk Arsenal marking with "M" code letter suffix on left side of frame. Original, early configuration, factory-matching magazines sub numbered “1” and “2”. Import markings as imaged. Single piece reddish maroon plastic grip with two checkered panels impressed with encircled 5 pointed star. Russian military holster, faint ink markings inside lid, with original cleaning rod.

Condition:

Virtually new as arsenal refurbished, the refurbishment based on polishing marks and a few, barely discernible, micropits under blue that are not visible in the images. Grip is near new as is the condition of both matching magazines, holster, and cleaning rod. Mirror bore. Correct manual mechanics with both magazines. A beautiful, extremely early, all matching Russian military Makarov rig!
