SN: 71. Single shot bar hammer percussion pistol with 3"" turn off barrel. The barrel is marked ""1837,"" ""Cast Steel,"" ""71"" and ""patented."" The grips are very good mellow ivory. The metal has even brown patina and visible engravings on the side plates.
