Description:

Allen & Thurber, Norwich CT Production Pepperbox. Ring trigger pepperbox revolver. Serial number 30 Circa 1840. Barrels are 3 ½” long with narrow flat ribs, one Rib marked “patented 1837”. Nipple shield has etched floral patterns. Frame has broad leaf floral engraving. Action works perfectly. Grips are very good plus with no chips or crack and have 98% original varnish and a silver spangle on each side. Rare pepperbox.
