An early and rare Allen & Wheelock Large frame pocket Revolver called the transition model with a roll died cylinder scene with some patches of corrosion, and an octagonal barrel lof 3" and the double action works well and top of frame has> ALLEN & WHEELLOCK.. The pull out cylonder pin has roughness and the American bag shaped walnut grips are good.Pat'd April 16, 1845 on top hammer.Overall a presentable and working.well. Possibly 50 or more made, according to Flayderman. About .34 cal
