Price reduced!! Here is a very rare, brass,Derringer, pocket or boot gun, used during the Civil War. Only about 3,000 were made. That being said, this is a very low serial number (905). This percussion pistol is a double barrel swivel rotating breech. The action and pivot and hammer work perfectly. This magnificent vintage piece was manufactured in Massachusetts by the American Arms Company. The company was formed in 1853 as G. H. Fox Co. Then in 1870 it became American Arms Co. manufacturing firearms in Boston, Massachusetts. One could assume that financial problems forced them into bankruptcy in 1893.
