#2477 Large English sash/belt Flintlock pistol by “Bond”

Description:
#2477 Large English sash/belt Flintlock pistol by “Bond”, with 8” full round iron barrel of approx 60caliber, British proofed. No fanciness to this pistol other than having some brass furnishings with light decoration, and has a graceful rounded buttstock without a buttcap. It is of military size, and likely was purchased by a gentleman of some means who either used it in some battle or carried it for protection in the 1780-1820 era. May have even been carried in the American Revolution …..by EITHER side! VG+ $1145
