#4562 Flintlock Single Shot Pocket Pistol (AKA “Muff Pistol”)

Description:
#4562 Flintlock Single Shot Pocket Pistol (AKA “Muff Pistol”), approx 45-cal, 2-1/4” barrel, 6” overall. Very good quality little box-lock drop trigger pocket flint design with typical military motif’ engravings, fancy bag style wood grip with fancy wire enlays and raised section on both sides. Thin grey-brown patina on very nice metal with some light spots of very minor pitting, but being near-Fine condition for a gun of this age (approx 1770-1790). Solid tight action and complete with its sliding safety and about 90% of the silver wire grip enlay. Shows very little use and no abuse. A VERY early little Pocket Gun! $875
