Pair if Belgian Flintlock Officer’s Pistols C. 1800-1820 Offered here for sale as a holiday special is this excellent Belgian Flintlock Officer’s Pistols C. 1800-1820 . With octagon sighted barrels each struck with a number ”1013” on the octagonal breech-section with silver inlayed design on top of barrels, engraved iron tangs, flat bevelled locks each with stepped-tail and roller, figured walnut full stocks each with checkered butt, engraved iron mounts including trigger-guards each with urn finial, and later wooden ramrods. Barrels have a very nice aged brown patina, minor marks to wood, deep checkering. Overall approx. 5-1/4” barrels. The bores interior appear to have seen very little if any use and are very smooth with no spots or rust. The action is perfect. In addition, for display purposes we have had in our inventory a very nice modern reproduction display case which fits the pistols and we offer to go along with pair as it would make a fine holiday gift for anyone.
