This is serial number 1695, an 8" #2 Navy Pistol, by Volcanic. Volcanic made 1000 #2 Navy Pistols. Volcanic firearms are the predecessor to Winchesters. I honestly can't think of any catchy description. I'll tell you though, it is very unlikely you will find another Volcanic pistol in this condition, for sale anywhere. Finest one we have ever found.
