I have e a fine to exc condition Tranter no.2 pat. 1862 factory cased revolver for sale in 32 rimfire cal The revolver was sold by LANE of LEAMINGTON and has their name finely engraved on the barrel .The barrel also has the words BREECH LOADING showing this to be a very early cartridge gun prob about 1863The revolver is covered in extremely fine scroll engraving see pics.The metal show about 80 % of the original deep rich blue.The grips are perfect no chips or dents finely checkered.The left side of the barrel in front of the cylinder has the TRANTER PATENT this model has a range of 2000-4000 this gun is serial number 3472 The action works perfect indexes and locks up as it should.The cylinder pin is removable for cleaning The bore and 6 shot cylinder are fine condition.The blue velvet case had 3 compartment lids The lid is fine Walnut burl wood.There is a fine blued cleaning rod and a silver oil bottle as well as the correct key.
