Long Barrel .25 cal Derringer

Description:
An interesting long barrel derringer of .25 cal from about 1870 to 1880 vintage with a 4" barrel and a bore with visible rifling and patches of surface corrosion. Breecg inside diameter is about .670" , and the exterior metal is smooth grey with no markings. This is a rim fire pistol and the swing out barrel has a swing arm mechanism under neath the barrel. Overall length is about 6 1/2" long. Grips are hand rubbed oil finish American walnut in good condition. Looks very familiar to many American made later 19th  Century gun makers.Check my inventory for unusual and rare gun parts and other items.
