"18th Century Dutch-Germanic style flintlock pistol .57 caliber (AH6129)
Description:
"NSN, circa mid 1700's, .57 caliber, 12.5"" octagonal barrel. Barrel and lock plate are in the bright turning to a light grey patina. Lock plate is unmarked outside, inside is marked ""HB"". Brass trigger guard is marked ""LE"". Belt hook is attached to the left side, with no evidence of a slide plate ever being there. Bore does so oxidation in the grooves, with faint rifling present. Wood is very good with light handling wear, a small crack is noted left side on the forward of the brass band, action holds at half and full cock.
