Caliber is .50. The barrel has a beautiful Damascus pattern. The lock has a roller frizzen. The cock has a sliding safety. The breech tang, trigger guard and finial are engraved as well as the lock. The stock is very good plus with no chips or cracks. There are some minor surface handling marks on the left side of the stock. The checkered pistol grip is excellent. Behind the breech tang is a vacant silver oval for initials or family crest. Pistol has the original ramrod with worm for cleaning or extracting. Barrel has silver escutcheons around the barrel wedge. This is a very well made and handsome pistol for a gentleman out on the town in London.
