The top oof the barrel is marked “REGIM to DE CABALLa DEL PRINCIPE" which translates to Regiment of the Horses of the Prince or shortened would be The Prince’s Cavalry Unit. There were 12 different Cavalry units in total. They were del Rey', 'de la Reina', 'del Principe', 'del Ynfante', 'de Borbon', 'De Farnesio', 'de Alcantara', 'de España', 'del Algarbe', 'de Calatrava', 'de Santiago' and 'de Montesa', and the two light regiments were 'de la Costa de Granada' and 'de Voluntarios de España'. This is an extremely rare Spanish military gun!
