ENGRAVED “London” Marked Early 1800s Handgun

Here we present an antique Lacy & Co. Flintlock Screw Barrel Pistol, made in England circa the early 1800s. This pistol is small, light and simple. It would have been a handy companion for a sticky situation, and could have slipped into a waistband, pocket, boot, or even up a sleeve. This would have seen use in the UK or its colonies or even the newly minted United States.

The overall condition is very good. Patina throughout. The action is excellent. The bore is smooth and patinated. The barrel turns off and on easily. The grip is solid. Birmingham proofs!
