32926- REVOLUTIONARY WAR PAIR OF FRENCH FLINTLOCK OFFICER’S PISTOLS CIRCA LATE 1770’S.
Description: 32926- REVOLUTIONARY WAR PAIR OF FRENCH FLINTLOCK OFFICER’S PISTOLS CIRCA LATE 1770’S. 14” overall with 8” part round, part octagon sighted barrels with double intaglio gilded maker touch marks at top of breeches with one depicting a “REARING BULL” and the other a “CROWN/CROSS”. Otherwise unmarked. Brass mounts with side plates and trigger guards of a form often seen on Liege made pistols of the period. Walnut stocks and horn tipped wood rods. All original and in fine condition with fine metal with nice original polish. Stocks with the original finish but with hairline cracks on the forends of both guns. These have been glued but need professional restauration. One ramrod tip missing. Locks in working order and both locks have all the original lock parts. Excellent bores.
