The maker's name signed in script on the lock. There is a "P." and an "R." in small script over the name on the top of the barrel.
Full-length walnut stock and brass mounts with ornate openwork brass side plate and grotesque-masque brass butt cap in the same design as his predecessor. Overall length 16 1/2 inches. Two stage action works properly.
