Cased Pair of English Turn-Off Barrel Flintlock Pistols (AH5234)

Description:

Cased Pair of English Turn-Off Barrel Flintlock Pistols Manufactured by W. Guy, Holborn, London. The trade label in the lid explains his invention of a new design of breech and pan as they related together. Barrels are 1 ½” length. Pistols are 7 ½” length overall. Case has powder flask, correct barrel wrench, bullet mold, and extra flints. Bore is .40 caliber. Case has the key. Case has a lifting handle in the lid. Pistols are tastefully engraved. The stocks are excellent, no chips, no cracks. The turn screw is a later addition. This is a handsome cased set in very fine condition.
