On Hold Sale Pending A Antique French Napoleonic wars Military Pattern "Year 9" Flintlock Pistol made 1799-1801. . The 8" barrel (approximately 69 caliber bore) has a thick layer of dark brown patina with vissible markings at the breach. The dark brown lock also have a thick patina with no visible markings and has frozen in the fired position. Total length 14 inches. But plate, trigger Gaurd and barrel band are brass with a brown patina. The wood stock shows much wear from many years of service, with a cartouche and other markings.
