Description:
This flintlock pistol, built on a London Warranted Lock, is a fascinating example of an original defensive pistol which would commonly be used throughout the Americas. Overall condition is good considering its age, with the finish having faded to a consistent brown patina and surprisingly little surface corrosion. The barrel is of a lightly swamped octagon contour and the stock features an attractive hand stained tiger striped finish. The stock unfortunately has cracked from the front of the lock to the ram rod keeper.
