Scarce 1800's Fully Silver Inlayed & Embossed, And Engraved Flintlock Pistol    

Description:
An Early & Scarce 1800's Fully Silver Inlayed & Embossed, And Finely Engraved Flintlock Pistol In Very fine Untouched Condition. All original and complete. The fine pistol has excellent metal throughout. The exquisite iron barrel has has raised and inlayed silver throughout it along with fine engraved silver panels with brass trim around them. The muzzle on the barrel has a silver dragon type mouth on top of it. The barrel is proofed and retains all of its original dark brown finish on it. The lock and hammer are fully engraved throughout. The fancy silver plated trigger guard and large butt plate are also fully engraved with fine designs. The wood on the pistol is fully carved and inlayed with silver inlays and silver dots in each and every small panel that are formed from the fine carving. The bottom of the muzzle has a large horn tip on it that goes into the wood. The pistol has a fine action. The pistol measures 15 inches long. This Is A Very Early & Scarce 1800's Fully Silver Inlayed & Embossed, And Finely Engraved Flintlock Pistol That Just Came Out Of An Old Virginia Collection!
