54 caliber. 8.5" barrel length. SN: NSN. Bright finish. Walnut stock. Flintlock pistol with notch and brass blade sights. Item features a swivel ramrod and iron mountings. Markings include {Eagle head}/A.WATERS/MILBURY. MS./1837 to center of lockplate, followed by a single H. Barrel is marked US/LF/P to top, as well as J and A inspector marks to triggerguard and stock flat on left side. Stock has circled JA John Avis and HKC Henry K. Craig inspector cartouches to flat on left side. Lock remains in original flint. Although the touchhole is slightly enlarged, it shows no signs of reconversion or modification when viewed with an endoscope.

Very good. Shows very little use. Nice clean bore. Nice grey-brown appearance to parts of barrel and iron mountings. Stock shows some very light handling marks.
