"Made 1840s -1850s. Both guns are 50 caliber with 3 ¾" barrels. Both of these guns are in like new condition with 99%+ of the original case hardened and blue finish. Both of the frame’s, trigger guard’s and butt cap’s are beautifully engraved. The butt caps both have cap traps in the butts. The finish on these guns is beautiful with bright case colors on the barrel and high polish blue on the trigger guard and triggers. Grips are finely checkered. Both guns are in a beautiful case with excellent accoutrements. Case and accoutrements are excellent. The top of each frame is marked “G.C. Warden". This is the presumed maker, but we cannot locate a G. C. Warden in any resources, so G.C. Warden maybe a former owner for who the guns were made for. In any case, this is a fantastic set of beautiful guns in excellent condition!
