"R. Johnson Middletown Ct. Model 1836 (AH5757)

"

R. Johnson Middletown Ct. Model 1836. 8 ½" barrel in .54 caliber. Lock dated 1843. U.S. Martial pistol converted to percussion from flintlock. Stock has an old but good looking re-varnished with two very visible inspector’s cartouches. Barrel has been re-browned with U.S. and inspector initials. “In the white metal parts are very good, except lock plate which has light surface pitting. The captive ramrod assembly is probably a repro but looks really good! Pistol is very good plus overall.
