Description:
 A Percussion Colt Model 1849 Pocket Revolver With 6 Inch Barrel In Fine Plus Original Condition. Serial #281,186, all matching numbers. Made in 1866, all original and complete. The revolver has excellent metal, markings, and edges. The cylinder scene is full and very clear. The barrel on the gun retains all of its bright factory blue on it. The cylinder has a mix of thinning original  blue that is fading into a natural light patina in areas. The frame, loading lever, and hammer all retain most of their original fine factory case colors on them. The brass backstrap and trigger guard are very nice and untouched. The original grips are very good plus and retain lots of original varnish on them. There is a very small 1800's period chip on the left bottom front corner. The pistol has a fine bore and tight crisp action. This Is A Fine Looking All Original Colt Model 1849 Percussion Pocket Revolver That Could Have Made It Out West!
