An Early & Scarce Civil War Starr Arms Co. D/A 1858 Percussion Navy Revolver
Description: An Early & Scarce Civil War Starr Arms Co. D/A 1858 Percussion Navy Revolver In Very Nice Untouched Condition. Serial #1,538, all matching numbers. All original and complete, made in .36 caliber. Only 3,000 made 1858-1860. The scarce revolver has fine metal, markings, and edges. It has a fine natural plum brown patina on it with streaks of original blue running through it. The loading lever and hammer show silvered case colors on them. The original grips are nice throughout with the name "SHALER" finely carved on both sides. This name should be researched further. The revolver has a fine action and bore. This Is The Most Difficult Of The Starr Revolvers To Find Especially In This Untouched Condition. This Would Be A Fine Addition To Any Civil War Collection!
