Antique US Springfield Model 1842 Springfield dated 1852 69 caliber

Description:
US Model 1842 Springfield musket dated 1852, 69 caliber. The full length three band dark wall stock is in good condition but has a area on the back side of the stock between the middle and upper band that has been heavily sanded (see photos). The 42 inch barrel is full length with proof marks and some pitting at the breach. The functioning lock is marked US with the eagle and Springfield 1852. The musket displays well and is complete with sling swivels and ramrod. Please feel free to contact me with any questions. Shipping will be actual cost by insured priority mail with tracking.
