RARE MARSTON & KNOX PERCUSSION POCKET MODEL 2 ½” PEPPERBOX CA. 1850’s. 7” o/a with 2 ½” fluted and ribbed, 6 shot .32 cal. barrel group. Factory engraved frame and recoil shield. Barrel signed “W.W. MARSTON & KNOX/NEW YORK” and bar hammer stamped “NEW YORK 1854”. Scarce with the short barrels and “Knox” maker mark. Very good to fine overall and 100% original. Excellent grips with the original finish and very crisp metal and engraving. Perfect working order. Desirable variation.
