Looking for a rare and nicely crafted antique pistol? Look no further than this Belgium Pocket Pistol, chambered for the .45 cal Percussion, folding trigger,  with one piece Ivory grips., 

Condition:  3 ½ ” octagon barrel with a very nice bore, minor spot pitting and still showing good straight line rifling.  Barrel will unscrew for loading or can be loaded from the muzzle end. Metal finish retains a very nice looking antique gun-metal grey.  Receiver and barrel are adorned with elaborate engraving. Trigger is a type of two stage one.  Hammer pulls back in a half-cock position to load with the trigger still folded in the up position.  Hammer pulled back again and the trigger drops down for firing. First pull on the trigger puts it back in a half-cock position like a 2 stage trigger. Second pull fires it. Very unusual system for an antique pistol this old. 
Original factory Ivory grips are in very good condition for the pistols age. There is a crack on both sides from the receiver to the middle of the tang. At some point in time the pistol also lost the butt plate.  ELG proof marks are still crisp and legible.    Mechanically the Pistol appears to work excellent.
