"Belgian Transitional Percussion Revolver (AH5650)
Description: "Belgian Transitional Percussion Revolver. Belgian made and proofed. Cylinder has partition nipples and features a loading rammer with right side mounted lever and geared rod. The cylinder arbor has a Colt type wedge to fasten the barrel assembly. Several variations of transitional English and European revolvers are photographed along with very good descriptions. See The Handgun by Geoffrey Boothroyd. Bore is a smooth bore with some pitting. Revolver is engraved with shell and cross hatch patterns in cameos. Action works perfectly. Grips are excellent with 98% original varnish. Barrel length is 6 ½" and 12" overall. Caliber is .38 or 9mm. This is a six-shot revolver. No rust. Overall the revolver is in near excellent condition.
