ENGRAVED “London” Marked Early 1800s Handgun

Here we present an antique Lacy & Co. Flintlock Screw Barrel Pistol, made in England circa the early 1800s. This pistol is small, light and simple. It would have been a handy companion for a sticky situation, and could have slipped into a waistband, pocket, boot, or even up a sleeve. This would have seen use in the UK or its colonies or even the newly minted United States.
The overall condition is good+. Patina throughout. The action is excellent. The bore is smooth and patinated. The barrel turns off and on easily. The grip is solid. Birmingham proofs!
