CIVIL WAR 36 CAL PERCUSSION COLT COPY BREVET REVOLVER
Description:
Made about 1860 this pistol appears to be a Belgian brevet. The pistol cocks and locks in a single position, the fire position and the hammer releases when the trigger is pulled. The piece appears to have been period reworked. The only markings are on the barrel assembly, a serial number where the barrel joins the frame near the trigger guard. The cylinder spins freely, the grips are in good condition. There is light surface rust and toning to the metal as to be expectedon a pistol of this age. I will consider offers.
This pistol came out of an estate collection that had another known Confederate maker pistol. SH&I is $25,00 USPS Ground advantage.
