Lazarino Cominazzo Italian Circa 1700 Pistol Converted to Percussion .58

Description:
Gun retains a pleasing patina overall. Properly converted to percussion sometime in the mid-1800's, although the gun itself dates to around 1700. Lock has some chisled work with gold fill towards the rear. Very fancy grip cap, side plate, and trigger guard. 11 inch part round part fluted barrel is engraved on the top flat LAZARINO COMINAZZO, although the first name is a little worn. Relief carved fancy wood stock has some handling marks but is solid. Bore has some light rust. The front sight appears to have been filed down a long time ago. Horn nose cap. This is a beatiful piece of art.
