True Pair of DuBout A Metz Percussion High Grade .70 Cal Large Bore Pistols Circa 1850

Description:
Both guns are identical. They were most likely cased at some point, however this is how we got them. Adustable trigger. Engraving on both guns is sharp and extensive. Both are marked in gold on the top of the barrels: DAMAS FRISE, both are marked on the locks DUBOUT A METZ and theyy both have the same monogram on the triggerguards, all in gold. Hammers and locks are outlined in gold as well. 10 inch octagon barrels with tight damascus pattern. Roughly .70 caliber, percussion, with microgroove rifling in the bores. Both have good bores. Wood stocks are carved with some light handling marks, there are some very minor hairline cracks that are solid and does not affect the integrity of either stock. Both are in fine mechanical order. We do not put any ammo in it or disassemble to check internal parts. We will sometimes take off barrels or stocks in an attempt to prevent damage in shipping. We only sell used guns, and have no way to know how many rounds have been through them.  WE DO NOT SHIP INTERNATIONALLY. ALL FIREARMS, REGARDLESS OF AGE OR FEDERAL ANTIQUE STATUS have to be shipped to a dealer for transfer within NY. Other states are fine, depending on your state laws. We will not ship to a New York, NJ, or CA C&R holder, a standard FFL is required.  There are some states in which a C&R handgun MUST be shipped to a dealer, such as MD. Please know your local laws.
