Very ornate pirate captains flintlock pistol

Description:
A very ornate pirate captain's flintlock pistol that measures about 20" long, with profuse fine wire inlays, and brass furniture, and inlaid brass/or gold (3) proof marks on the barrel breech. The bannana shaped early 1690's lock has very fine detail, and the hammer cocks but it takes three men to pull it back.  The butt-cap is not brass but some type metal composite material that fits very well, and may have been added at a later time.,On the back side of the pistol grip area is a plaque with two old coral cabochons. a very colorful  display pistol
