Description:

Late production Swiss 1900 Military Luger, this example with scarce wide trigger, 4.75” tapered barrel, drift adjustable front sight and fixed "V" notch rear sight. Flat top breech block with toggle train having dished ears and anti-rebound arm. Chamber marked with Swiss Cross-in-Sunburst. Intertwined DWM on forward toggle link. Small Swiss proofs on left side of barrel and left receiver. Full serial number under barrel and forward frame adjacent to the deaccessioned year "31". All small parts correctly serialized, either with "8" or the last three digits including trigger, except takedown lever that is unmarked. Usual strawed small parts. Finely checkered walnut grips, both panels factory-matching. Original unmarked magazine with aluminum disc plug. Complete with brown leather holster for DWM 1906 Swiss Military Luger dated "16".

Condition:

VG+ with 95% original rust blue with wear as one would expect from a holstered pistol, mainly the sides of the muzzle, tip of the rails, hump of the sideplate, and the handling/fading on the front and backstraps. The small Swiss cross acceptance on the barrel having cut through the blue and the deaccession "31" on the forward frame nicely cratered and haloed. The strawed parts and fire blued grip screws have been freshened. Near mirror bore. Perfect manual mechanics. VG holster with stained but supple leather, original stitching and grommet reinforcement intact.
