Colt New Line .30 RF Nickel

Description:
Beautiful little Colt New Line in scarce .30 caliber rim fire, 5 shot revolver. Made 1874-1876. Serial number 245 with a 2 1/4" round barrel and original rosewood grips that fit perfectly and have most of the original varnish with normal dings from use. The barrel is etched with "COLT NEW 30" and is very clear. Most of the original nickel is remaining with a few light rust spots. The back of the hammer has most of the bright fire blue remaining. The action functions properly and the bore has scattered roughness.
An interesting note, this model is the only .30 caliber made by Colt.
