"Beautiful Early Large Scottish Pistol by John Campbell of Doune (AH6514)

Description:
"Made circa 1700. 58 caliber bore with a 12" barrel. This is a massive example of a Scottish Pistol with an overall length of 18". Barrel has been cleaned. Metal stock is silver inlayed and engraved. The Lock is marked “JOHN CAMPLL" John Campbell was one of the early Doune maker. This gun has a rams horn butt. The barrel has been replaced. Absolutely wonderful gun and among the rarest we have ever owned!
