"English Flintlock Muff Pistol (AH5932)

"

This flintlock muff pistol is marked LONDON. The overall length is approx. 5.75"". The approx. 2.25"" octagon to round 32 caliber rifled barre has a good bore with darkness in the grooves. The barrel has two decorative bands. The frame and rear barrel flats and trigger guard feature decorative engraving. The lower right barrel flat is engraved LONDON. All metal is bright with brown staining. The grips are very good with silver wire inlays, most of which are missing. The action screw slots are battered. The action functions correctly and sparks with the installed flint. This is a nice example of a flintlock muff pistol.
