"R. Hyslop, New York, New York. Worked 1825-1830. “Kentucky Style" Flintlock with roller frizzen. Barrel is from an English or European pistol of an earlier period and has an “IP" proof at the breech near the tang. Caliber is .60. Barrel length 9 ¼" and overall length is 14 1/2 “. This is a well-made gun, particularly the engraved lock. Condition is very good to excellent.
