"Rare Spanish 1789 Miquelet Pistol Marked Prince’s Cavalry (AH8807)
Description: "NSN. Made circa 1789. 72 caliber with a 12" barrel. The metal has a light gray patina. Wood is very good. The top oof the barrel is marked “REGIM to DE CABALLa DEL PRINCIPE" which translates to Regiment of the Horses of the Prince or shortened would be The Prince’s Cavalry Unit. There were 12 different Cavalry units in total. They were del Rey', 'de la Reina', 'del Principe', 'del Ynfante', 'de Borbon', 'De Farnesio', 'de Alcantara', 'de España', 'del Algarbe', 'de Calatrava', 'de Santiago' and 'de Montesa', and the two light regiments were 'de la Costa de Granada' and 'de Voluntarios de España'.
