On Hold Sale Pending. This is a Belgian Flintlock Horse Cavalry Pistol circa 1790's-1820 which were used by Belgium and many other countries during the Napolionic wars and into the 1830's. Total length is 15.5" with a 9 inch barrel with a bore of approximately 67-69. The lock and barrel are a smooth dark brown patina the trigger gaurd and but plate with the lanyard loop are brass with a little brown patina. The functioning original lock is marked with the crown over a GN. I have not looked under the barrel on this one but it should have be Leige barrel mark on the bottom side. The stock is good with no repairs but shows numerous dents dings and handling marks as it should from years of military use. A great piece of military history. Please feel free to ask questions.
