Asa Waters Model 1836 Flintlock Pistol With 1838 Lock

Description:
The breech is marked U.S. over JH over P. On the wood flat MP Lomax 1837-1843 and L. Foster 1837. The breech is marked P over JH over U.S. 54-caliber 8 ½” barrel. The lock is marked Eagle head over A. Waters over Milbury, MS, over 1838. This is original flintlock with very good mechanical and a nice bore. The wood is very nice and the metal has a patina. The brass flash pan has a fence.
